About params.

Params is a software development company based in Seoul, South Korea. We build web applications, mobile products, AI systems, and cloud infrastructure for businesses across Asia and worldwide.

What we're about

Params was founded because software delivery is harder than it should be. Not technically — the tools exist. The problems are almost always contractual and organisational: scope that expands without agreement, costs that appear without warning, and no one available after the product ships.

Our approach

We take on a limited number of projects at a time. Every engagement starts with a scoping session before any proposal is written — we need to understand the business problem before we can accurately price the technical solution. If we cannot commit to a realistic timeline and budget, we say so before you sign anything.

Built on a few non-negotiables.

Technical depth that shows

Our engineers hold degrees from top universities in Korea, the US, and Europe, and have worked at scale inside some of the region's leading technology companies. That background shows in the quality of architecture decisions, not just the code — and most of our clients come back because they can tell the difference.

Referral-driven

The majority of our engagements come from existing clients and the organisations they refer us to. We have maintained that model since founding — it reflects the standard of work we hold ourselves to.

Transparent scoping

Every engagement begins with an honest evaluation of feasibility, timeline, and cost. If the scope exceeds the budget, or the timeline is not achievable, we say so at the outset. Changes during an engagement are communicated before they have a financial implication.

Twelve verticals. One standard of work.
